These are my ideas for my website for my portfolio. It will be fairly straight forward with just a few headers and links to other parts of the site. I want to have easily accessible images that will expand when clicked. Also, I was thinking of having a background image but not sure if it will be too distracting. Also, I am leaning toward blue as my overall theme color, something appealing to the eyes but that also allows the text and images to stand out.

This is my e-card for protecting our oceans by stopping the use of plastic bags at grocery stores by bringing reusable bags to the store. I have used pictures of ocean life and underwater scenes to emphasize the beauty of our oceans and how plastic bags not only are an eyesore but also do harm to the oceanlife because the animals and fish either try to eat the bags or get them caught on their fins. I used the ocean images as the background and lower the opacity on each. Then attached the texts and images and applied blending options to make them stand out and blend in with the background better.

This is my sketch for the E card. It will be about using reusable bags for food shopping. It also comments on how so many plastic bags are littering our oceans and causing harm to sea life.

This is my book cover for the jazz musician John Coltrane. I wanted it to look dark and moody and the spotlight on the saxophone represents his instrument and the fact that he was inspired later in life by his pursuit of his spirituality. There are a few layers on the cover with the smoky haze and spotlight and a couple other effects put in. I also used the blur brush tool on the front to just add an interesting look to it overall. The type is embossed with a satin effect put on it. I also choose a different color for part of his last name, Trane, as that is what he is commonly referred to as.

The cover as a single file followed by the spine and back.
